Contributors

Only Muslim scholars are invited to participate in the IEQ-Project. We are currently looking for more scholars to join the project in various capacities. A complete list of contributing will be available as each volume goes to press.

A note to Muslim scholars:

Initiated by the Center for Islam and Science (Canada), IEQ is a unique effort by Muslims from around the world to produce the first English language encyclopedia of the Qur'an from an Islamic perspective. (Please click here for reviews on the only other English language encyclopedia of the Qur'an). As such, your participation in this project, which has the potential of redirecting and reframing the academic discourse on the Qur'an in the Academy for the first time in history, is highly valuable. Please use links below to download sample contract, author guidelines and transliteration scheme and if you are interested in writing entries, joining the editorial team, or would like to be a referee for entries, please contact Dr. Muzaffar Iqbal, General Editor of IEQ (ieq@cis-ca.org).
